Camperdown Wildlife Centre is a popular zoo in Dundee and it's just 15 minutes away from the city centre! It's a fun family day out with lots of animals and is open all year round too, whatever the weather!
Some of the animals you'll see at the zoo are very rare, endangered or threatened with extinction. You'll find European brown bears, wolves, ring-tailed lemurs and snowy owls, plus many more!
If you have an animal enthusiast, why not opt for an animal experience? There's lots to choose from! You can be a zookeeper for the day where you'll see what goes on behind the scenes at the zoo and get up close and personal to lots of the animals.
You can feed your favourite animal too, from the brown bears, meerkats, lemurs and much more! It's great if you didn't want to do a whole day zookeeper experience.
There's also a very popular wildlife camp. It's a five day programmes designed to give young people a fun experience and a memorable experience with play, activities and learning! On the camp days you can take park in craft workshops, walks, storybook trails, lawn games, insect hunting, zookeeper chats, sports and much more!
On site you'll also find a cafe with lots of home-made snacks and a gift shop with wildlife themed goods to purchase!

The park is 3 miles from the city centre, follow the signs for Coupar Angus (A923) off the Kingsway West (A90).
Once on the A923, at the first roundabout take the first exit (left) to the Leisure Park and turn immediately right into the park at the main entrance. Follow the signs to the Widllife Centre along the drive. The Centre is approximately 1 mile into the park.

The general flat terrain and is considered reasonably wheelchair and pushchair friendly. The majority of the paths are tarmac with ramps to all raised viewing areas.
