One of the biggest draws of Adventure Valley is its huge outdoor adventure playground, which features everything from climbing walls and slides to rope bridges and zip wires. This playground is designed to challenge and excite children of all ages, with different areas for different age groups. Younger children can enjoy the mini-playground with its gentle slides and soft play equipment, while older children and teenagers will love the high ropes course and other challenging obstacles.
For those who love animals, Adventure Valley has a petting zoo with all sorts of adorable creatures to meet and feed. From rabbits and guinea pigs to sheep and goats, children will love getting up close and personal with these friendly animals. There are also regular animal shows and displays throughout the day, including the popular pig racing event!
Indoor play is also on offer at Adventure Valley, with a massive soft play area featuring slides, ball pits, tunnels and more. The play area is designed for younger children and is perfect for letting them burn off some energy while you enjoy a cup of coffee or a bite to eat in the on-site cafe.
For those who are feeling more adventurous, there are plenty of outdoor activities to try out, such as mini-golf, go-karting and pony rides. You can even take a ride on the Mini Diggers, which allows children to operate real, mini-construction vehicles under the guidance of an experienced operator.

By Car:
Adventure Valley is easily accessible by car and is located just off the A1(M) motorway. If you are travelling from the north, take the A1(M) southbound and exit at junction 63. If you are travelling from the south, take the A1(M) northbound and exit at junction 62. From either junction, follow signs for Adventure Valley and you'll find us on the A688 just past the main Sainsbury's store in Brasside.
By Public Transport:
If you prefer to travel by public transport, the nearest train station is Durham, which is served by trains from Newcastle, York, Edinburgh and London. From Durham train station, you can take a taxi to Adventure Valley, which should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Durham bus station to Adventure Valley. The X12, X12A and X12B buses run regularly from Durham bus station to the Sainsbury's in Brasside, which is a short walk from Adventure Valley.
