Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary

Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary is a registered charity which cares for and protects abused and ill-treated donkeys and other animals. They welcome visitors daily and donations are appreciated if you visit too! 

Many of the donkeys are outside in the fields, and visitors can walk along the fields where you'll see a lot of the donkeys in close prozimity! You can say hellow to the donkeys and relax close to the fencing but remember not to feed them! 

Take a peak inside the visitor centre to find out more about their work, enjoy some refreshments and more. You can also head outside into the yard to visit the stables and barn too. 

They also welcome group visits too, and if you would like to see a specific donkey in advance as you can adopt one! Some of the donkeys are occasionally out and about helping to raise funds for the santuary by appearing at shows and events. 

There's also a cafe which is open most weekends and a gift shop where you can buy donkey toys, and goods to take home and to remember your special visit by.
