Cherwell Boat House allows for you to experience Oxford on water at one of the finest punt stations! You'll journey upstream and experience the sights and history along the way. 

You'll journey upstream through the rural countryside and downstream takes you through the university parks which is a great spot for picnics and games. It's suitable for beginners and experts and the whole family, and there's around 80 boats, so it's always good availability, but it will be busy on weekends. 

You don't need to commit to a time, simply leave a deposit and you can go for as long as you like! There's a lawn and benches where you can wait for a bench if you need to with a tea hut for refreshments and snacks. 

You can also have a chauffeured punting option if you're not feeling confident to navigate yourself, and they'll act as a tour guide and point out some unqiue spots along the way. 

Each punt is equipped with cushions, pole and paddle making is a comfortable ride throughout the countryside - perfect on a Summer day!
