About this activity

Amnerfield Farm and Miniature Railway is the perfect family day out! The minitature railway is run by a group of enthusiasts; the track weaves its way around the beautiful farmland. There's truly something for everyone - Amnerfield Railway attracts children and adults alike.

The track which is approximately 3/4 of a mile long, runs through part of the farm's pasture and woodland, providing a picturesque view of the farm.

Enjoy two and a half hours of train rides (pulled by either a steam, diesel or battery engine) over their three quarters of a mile scenic track. Please be advised that steam engines emit steam, smoke and hot ashes. Use of their outdoor station facilities, complete with tables and chairs, is perfect for your birthday tea; and a large grass area complete with picnic benches is also available. Please feel free to bring along your own birthday tea (or a barbeque). They can supply coffee, tea and squash if requested.
