About this activity

The Living Rainforest is an amazing experience for the whole family, as it's where kids and parents alike can discover over 850 species of incredible and unique plants and animals (including rare and endangered species!) all of global conservation value.

In fact, conservation is an incredibly important part of The Living Rainforest. The centre features ecosystem and sustainability exhibits, all part of a global charity, with a focus on education that works with schools all around the world - Trust for Sustainable Living!

Some of the amazing creatures that kids can meet at The Living Rainforest include the adorable two-toed sloth, the cheeky Asian mudskipper, and the infamous blur poison dart frog! From armadillos to marmosets, right down to the most delicate of orchids, The Living Rainforest has plants and animals to marvel at, learn about, and inspire!

What's also great, is that continuing their dedication to sustainability, wherever possible they act as a sustainability demonstration centre, incorporating sustainable building materials, as well as sustainable construction techniques and even renewable energy sources into their buildings and operations!
