It's time to get creative and show that imagination through paint and design at the art-tastic Mad Hatters Pottery!

This fun arts & crafts experience for the whole family allows you to enjoy the art and fun of pottery painting all in a super fun tea party atmosphere!

Whether you have never held a brush before, or feel like you're Picasso or Monet, it doesn't matter! Everyone is welcome, and anyone can paint pottery and everyone can have a go!

Mad Hatters Pottery is a really seamless experience. All you do, is when you arrive you pick what piece you want to paint from the shelf. All of the pieces are indiviually priced, so you can stay within your budget. Then, all you have to do is paint!

Once you're finished, the friendly staff (who are also there on hand the whole time to help you with any questions), will glaze and fire your piece, and you can take it home!

Mad Hatters Pottery are open 7 days a week, and offer some delicious hot drinks and cakes so you really can make a day of it!

Mad Hatters Pottery Tilehurst FAQ’s

All of the paints and glaze are water based, lead free and non toxic, so they are perfectly safe for all ages to use.

Being creative is hungry work! Luckily for you on site they sell hot drinks (including hot chocolate!), cold drinks, homemade cakes, hot snacks and treats!

It's best to avoid baby wipes, greasy food or hand cream when painting as this can repell the colours.

You can have your piece to take home! The firing may take a few days, but you can go back and collect your masterpiece!

Give them a call to ask about accessibility! The team are there to help!

Prices start at just £6 which includes the cost of the paints, tools, equipment plus the glazing and firing of your finished creation.
