Broughton Castle is a moated and fortified manor house near Banbury in Oxfordshire. It's set in beautiful parklands and is the family home of the 21st Lord and Lady Saye & Sele. It's also been in the family since 1447!
The house itself has the great hall at the heart with beautiful portraits, ceilings and furniture. You'll also get to see the dining room which is still in use today and panelling dating back from the mid 16th century.
You'll also see the oak room which has featured in a number of films, the gallery, the kings chamber, chapel and gatehouse too, complete with a moat. Outside, you can also experience the beautiful and tranquil gardens, with beautiful colours throughout the seasons.
They also run regular events including a castle tour which takes around an hour, and you'll get to uncover the history along the way by an expert guide. The grounds also have cattle and sheep too, so make sure to say hello to them if you see them!
