Ufton Fields Nature Reserve is managed in partnership with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and is a wildlife haven with all weather footpaths providing access to varied habitats in every season.
If you're looking to get outdoors with the family, this is your perfect opportunity as you'll explore grasslands, woodlands and wetlands and plenty of wildlife along the way. During selected times of the year you'll see cattle grazing in the Snipe Meadow and the reserve stretches to 32 hectares in total.
You can take a circulur walk by following the trail posts and you'll see different habitats along the way. There are feature points too which help you discover more about the reserve and the wildlife in it. The walk takes around one hour to complete, and there's brass rubbing disks featuring local wildlife attached to each marker post.
Ufton Fields is the most northern place in the UK where the rare Man Orchid can be found and it's also an important area for butterflies, birds, toads, newts and dragonflies.
There are plenty of picnic spots along the way too, so bring some drinks and snacks and relax!
