Blenheim Palace is a stunning palace set in 2000 acres of beautiful parkland in the middle of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds and only 8 miles from Oxford. This World Heritage site is well-known as the birthplace of famed former Prime Minister Winston Churchill!

There is more than one way to investigate the Palace which means there is something for everyone! The State Rooms Tours tour gives you a guided tour of the main Palace with a indepth look over the Palace's last 300 years and all the scandal and intrigue that goes alongside it! Blenheim Palace is not just a traditional museum though! The 'Untold Story' is a state of the art high-tech self guided tour that focuses on the fascinating figures who have made the palace their home over the last 300 years!

If it's a sunny day then outside the Palace there is over 100 acres of formal gardens to enjoy with 2000 acres of parkland including a beautiful forest and a serene lake making this one of Oxfordshire's best places for a peaceful afternoon in the sun. 

The young kids are also sure to love the miniature train that runs between the Palace and the Gardens where a whole new world of wonder awaits! For those brave enough the Gardens have the Marlborough Maze which is the second largest hedge maze in the world - try not to get lost! They've also got an adventure playground and a butterfly house so there's something for everyone!

Blenheim Palace also has seasonal events throughout the year, from traditional jousting to horse trials, the palace is a must-see and one of Oxfordshire's best attractions!

Blenheim Palace is situated in Woodstock, eight miles north of Oxford on the A44. It is signposted from j9 of M40 and from the A34.

The no S3 bus runs from Oxford direct to the Palace gates. It is a 10 minute walk from the gates to the Palace.

Trains and buses run regularly to Oxford from London and Birmingham.
