Victoria Park was opened to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee all the way back in 1899, and today still remains a super fun park that families can enjoy!
Victoria Park features several adventure play areas that offer a wide range of equipment, as well as a summer paddling pool and loads of sports space including 10 all weather tennis courts, bowls and cricket!
In fact, it's a tree-lined riverside park perfect for families and sport!
The paddling pool at Victoria Park opens during the summer, usually from May half-term until September, and is always fun for the little ones!
The park also has bowls, but check their individual opening times and prices.
Fancy a spot of tennis? Enjoy those 10 hard courts we mentioned before, AND kids, you'll love there is a new skate park too!
The play area is a great place for toddlers and older children to spend some time, and don't forget to bring comfy walking shoes asn there is a half mile path that takes you around the park.
Also, it's a park! So you'll find plenty of grass and park space for family fun, ball games, picnics and more!
