Branston Water Park is home to a variety of species of plants and animals that are common and rare too! It's a great chance to bring the whole family and explore the park and get outside in nature.
The site has received the prestigious Green Flag award and has held it since 2005 for it's wildlife value of the site! There is a small visitors centre on site too and a level path running around the entire site which is wheelchair accessible to.
You'll also find a children's play area where the kids can run about and let off some steam and navigate the obstacles!
You'll also find lots of information around the site on the types of birds and habitats that can be found at the park too.
There's always something going on too with lots of activities being ran by local groups. There are information boards around the park and near the visitor centre too which are updated regularly with the latest events and activities.
There's lots of picnic areas and a cafe too, along with a small play area for the little ones to run about in!
Access by car to Branston Water Park is off the A38 heading northbound between Barton under Needwood and Branston. Follow the brown tourist signs.
