Pooley Country Park is a 62.5 hectare site with plenty of habitats, footpaths and playa reas for a great family day out. There's lots of things to see and do here, all year round!
A third of the site is a designated sit of special scientic interest and contains several pools caused mining subsidence, woodland habitats and more.
On your visit you can take a stroll along the footpath that was used by miners all the way back in 1846 and see what you can find along the way. Take a visit to the play area and climb, run and jump and nvaigate the obstacles and burn off some energy! Why not take a visit to the tea room too and refuel with a tasty bite to eat!
At the visitor centre you can see some memorabilia from the former Pooley and Noth Warwickshire miners. The Pooley Hall Collier was the first North Warwickshire Colliery, and was the first mine to generate its own electricity.
The park is openall year round and they host various events and activities throughout the year, so make sure to check out the events calendar before you visit.
