Located on the campus of the Unviersity of Adelaide, MOD. is a wonderful science museum specifically designed for 15 to 25 year olds, complete with interactive exhibits and themes geared for an older audience - and with free admission!
If you are interested in taking any children under 15 years, they are still welcome and may enjoy the experience, but may need guidance in order to be fully engaged.
MOD. is a futuristic museum of discovery, and a place where you can be inspired!
They bring together researchers, industries, and students with the goal of pushing boundaries, of exploration, and of course inspiration.
The museum presents one in-gallery and one online exhibition every year, along with a program of workshops, talks and events. This means you can always go back and discover something new and incredible.
Your time around MOD. may take around an hour, so leave at least that so you can really enjoy all of the galleries and things to do!
They are located in the UniSA Bradley Building (Purruna Wardli). Find us on North Terrace, adjacent to the Morphett Street Bridge, in front of the City West tram stop, opposite the Lion Arts Factory.
You can easily visit MOD. using Adelaide Metro services. Transport options include Botanic or Glenelg line trams, exiting at the City West stop, via train exiting at the Adelaide Railway Station and via bus.

Schools and other groups are welcome to come and explore their gallery spaces. While MOD. is open to visitors of all ages, our exhibitions are designed for 15-25 year olds. If you plan to bring primary school aged children, teachers are encouraged to visit MOD. beforehand.
They recommend allowing at least an hour for your visit. Please note that MOD. has no bag storage facilities.
If you are bringing a group to visit, fill out the enquiry form on their site at least 2 weeks before your visit.
MOD. is committed to being accessible and inclusive, providing a space that can be enjoyed by all visitors. They welcome people of all identities and backgrounds.
