Where are we going today?

There are so many reasons why science is fun, and at Science Central they have a TON of hands-on exhibits which show kids that is CAN be fun!

Science Central is a super fun and interactive science center in Indiana where kids can learn all about science, technology and math in an engaging and fun way. Which means, they are having a great time playing, exploring, experimenting and creating, at the same time they are learning and not even realizing it!

The first very big plus of Science Central, is that it's indoors, so learning doesn't have to learn for the weather! The second very big plus, is that there is SO much for those active minds to take in, and it's FUN!

The interactive exhibits are super fun for the kids, and cover a range of topics.

Whilst there are no oceans in Indiana, that doesn't stop the kids being able to interact with sea creatures in the touch pool! There are educators there to help them and answer any questions too!

Have you ever tried to ride a bike 25 feet off the ground? Now is your chance! If you have kids aged 2 to 7, then KidsCentral is the place to be where those younger guests can enjoy a range of activities, from bubble windows to playing a giant piano.

Kids can even earn points and "purchase" other items at the Swap Shop, where they can bring in fossils and rocks, and have them identified!

Science Central also has touring exhibits which you won't want to miss, so keep an eye on the dates! Sometimes you might learn all about our amazing universe, and other times you might get to travel to the ends of the earth!

Learning IS fun at Science Central, so let's get going!

Google made me give Science Central at least 1 star, otherwise it would be 0. Half of the displays were broken. The moon jump was a joke, your kid basically gets to kind of bounce in place because they couldn't put another child on the other side, because shocker it was broke. Understandably things can break, but according to the employee it had been broken for over 6 months. There are pictures of children being able to interact with water creatures, but don't be fooled, they can't. I guess if you live in Ft. Wayne this is the absolute tops...Read More

Took my older children here in the 90's. It was fresh and fun then. I came back this summer and it was dated and old, didn't appear to have changed a bit. Several of the exhibits were closed. It is badly in need of repair and update. Kids were able to find stuff to do, but I was Disappointed.

There are pictures of children being able to interact with water creatures, but don't be fooled, they can't. I guess if you live in Ft. Wayne this is the absolute tops for a place to take your kids that isn't the children's zoo, but I found it very lacking. Also the kid volunteer was very rude when my eight year old accidentally brush the surface of the water while a crab was being described. My son even apologized before being chided by this entitled little punk. There are thousands of better things to do with your kids than this overpriced joke of an attraction. It was highly recommended to me for some reason and we drove two hours to get here. Just wait for the Children's Zoo to be open. It is a good attraction, while this is just sad and should be shut down, and the building should be destroyed to get rid of the horrible memories of this sad, sad place.
