There is a LOT of skill needed if you get into the world of model making. It's a fascinating craft and when you see such life like models, you wonder how they even could make such a piece of art!

Well, if you love the art of model making, AND love aviation, then we might just have the place for you!

The National Model Aviation Museum is home to the largest collection of model aircraft in the US. Yes, all those model lovers in the family, the LARGEST in the entire country!

During your time exploring the museum, you can also learn a lot about aircraft, history and models too. Discover how aeromodeling helped change the world of aviation, and examine the astonishing craftsmanship and artistry of its masters.

It's not just the models to enjoy at the National Model Aviation Museum though, Visitors can drive around the 1,100 acre flying site to watch most events for FREE, so be sure to check out the calendar on the website so you don't miss out!

Open 10am - 4pm, but 12pm close on select days so check online before you go
