Where are we going today?

Are you ready to journey into SPACE? That amazing place that our planet lives in - that we only know so much about. Which means there is LOTS let to discover!

The Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium has an aim to enlighten and inspire kids as part of their learning in science and space! They do this through the fascinating programs that hold frequently, with topics that range from those mysterious black holes, to the moon and stars, and even the planets themselves.

The Planetarium also have shows and attractions which can engage the whole family - taking you all through cosmic adventures - through our galaxy, and through the solar system. You might even seen some of the most amazing sites of our universe that you have ever seen!

It offers kids one of a kind teaching, which means one of a kind learning! (Great for the parents!) Even though they are located on the TAMIU campus, it's open to the public for special star-gazing events, shows, and school field trips.

Did you know that the Lamara Bruni Vergara Planetarium is one of the most sophisticated planetariums in the entire state of Texas! With the latest technology allows kids to see views from planet Earth, as well as any known part of the universe. How amazing is that!

Kids can experience spectacular unseen vistas, that in the past have only been photographed through high developed telescopes. Now they can see these images with their very eyes!

It's a completely immersive experience for kids that will make them feel like they are being whisked away into space for your family day out!

A great way to space out in Laredo!
