I love trail riding at Holly Ridge Farm. My best buddy is Stormy and he takes care of me as much as i take care of him. He loves to do tricks too!Sometimes a take special lessons on the big Mustang it is nice to be able to try different size horses. My mom loves Holly Ridge Farm because it is so safe and riding instructors are CHA certified. IF you sign up for one set of riding lessons you will be hooked. When my cousins come from out of town they trail ride just the the day. Staff is AAAA++++

Family friendly Horses. The Trail Ride was just great my daughter and Ispent the morning at the farm. We were welcomed by 2 mini horses and 2 donkeys, dogs cats and chickens. My girl is in love with the pony she rode. My horse was well trained. The lady took us on a long trail ride in the woods. Asset to Eastern Shore. Very Safe! Keep up the good work! We will return. I want to have a birthday party for my daughter at this barn.

I started boarding my horse here a few months ago. The farm is spectacular with an indoor and tons of trails. My horse has never been happier. I looked all over the area as I am incredibly picky and know that I found the best place possible. Nothing comes close. Thanks to all at the Barn!

The trainer, Anne, was very unreasonable. The costs are really very high for the quality of training (a lot higher then everyone else I have gone too). The riding part of the lesson only was about 10-15 minutes, only enough time for a warm up, after grooming, tacking/untacking and her talking my ears off. She made the lessons un-fun by being over-cautious about everything. I didn’t learn anything from any of my lessons and she gave me a few bad habits. She lied to me and my friend, saying we were doing something right when I know we obviously weren’t. Oh and she never gave me the refund for the 3 lessons I missed when she promised she would.I stopped taking lessons there and almost stopped riding all together because of my bad experiences there. So I went to another riding stable, that’s unfortunately closed now :'(, expecting the same thing. But it was totally different, I learned everything about horses from that instructor and became so much better at riding too! Basically, don’t settle for this place. There are much better and cheaper places you can go for trail riding, lessons, boarding and everything else horsey-wise on the Eastern Shore or while visiting Ocean City.
