This place is extremely expensive!! I could justify spending the money considering the fact that you get the water park for free, discounted prices for the zip lining, the theme park, mini golf & the benefit of being close to Ocean City, but in my opinion it is NOT worth it. The park has a shuttle that will transport you to the beach, but it drops you off at the inlet. Everyone knows you do NOT want to set up on the beach near the inlet. So we were forced to pay for parking higher up on coastal highway to a nicer section. The park it’s self is congested, extremely congested!! Your lucky if you can get into your spot. The only activity I witnessed taking place in the pavilion was Bingo and a movie which was played on two small sized tv’s. They didn’t even have a projection screen! There is a major lack of activities for older children. I had two thirteen year old girls with me that were completely bored. All the teenagers seemed to hangout outside of the camp store since that was the only location that got the falsely advertised free WIFI. The western theme park and water park is directed toward young children. I do not recommend those two activities for older children. My daughter wanted to leave the water park after going down each slide once. I was very disappointed in the western theme park. My family use to camp here when I was growing up. I even visited a few years ago and talk about a change! The staff has been cut in half. There is a huge difference in the shows since there aren’t many employees participating in the shows. The train robbery only had one cowboy and was lame compared to what it use to be. Also the train derailed and a lady fell out onto the ground while the train was in motion. Everyone was screaming and a few people refused to get back on. Fortunately the lady was not hurt. The only awesome activity that we truly enjoyed and was reasonably priced was the zip lining, but it isn’t advertised that once you pay you can continue to do the courses for up to 3 hours. So make sure you go early. We were unaware of this and so we only got to go once. Overall I did not enjoy this place! I think if you have lots of money to spend and small children maybe you would enjoy camping here, but I have been many other places that I think are worth the money and this place is NOT! Will not go again.

The worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced!! Be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing before you travel there. We were told over the phone (and at check in) that we rented a pet-friendly cabin; however, later had to leave when that was NOT the case. And then WE were treated as if we had been dishonest about it. Management had a very bad attitude. Will never go back.

Before we came to Frontier Town, we reserved a golf cart FIVE months in advance. At around 9:30 we went down to get the golf cart, and (thank god) my sister brought her car to come camping with us, so we brought that down to the rental place(if we didn’t have the car it would be a mile walk), and they supposedly tell us they do not have a golf cart ready and we drove back(may I note we are very patience people) and then we came back at around 11:30, and we wait there patiently and a women cuts in front of us standing at the little “golf cart hut” and the staff member “Shaun” helped the women when he SAW us standing there. Then after he helps her and he walks past us and starts working on another golf cart like we’re invisible. Then after 5 minutes he comes back and my wife says “hello?” and he ignored her, and then a golf cart with 4 people came up, and he helps them and gets them TWO golf carts, while me, my wife, and daughter are standing there. Then my wife finally says (now annoyed) “Can I please get my golf cart?!” and he asks us our information and my mom says can we bring our golf cart back on Friday at 12:30 since thats when we would get it, and he says no. and my wife says I want to see the manager I dont want my golf cart and i want my 180 dollars back(for the golf cart) and the manager says “Well I dont know how good of a customer you are” and I got furious because wherever we go we are patient and we dont get angry a lot and then after 10 minutes of arguing the manager finally says we can get our money back.and then when we went to get our money back the people at the desk were rude, and we had to wait 15 minutes for our service.then when we went to our friend’s site to hang out, and when they went to get liquor from their cooler they realized around 100-150 dollars worth of (unopened) liquor was stolen from their cooler the night before. the waterpark has around 2-3 slides and a lazy river and its 14 dollars for all day. really?we are NEVER EVER coming back here again.

First time with veteran Frontier Town family. At first, did not get the whole “campsite” camping. After a day, I realize the benefit of a trip like this, especially with children and cost effectiveness. Fishing, clamming, crabbing, sunsets, campfires, mountain pies, smores, free water park, decent bathroom facilities, convenient camp store (that’s suppose to be pricey for forgetful adults). A bit crowded for my liking, however will look for another “off” peak week. Best part was canoeing (you can go on guided tours – we had our own) to a grass knoll across the bay and viewing a wild horse 200ft away swim from island to island. Amazing!

This was our first time at Frontier Town Campground. This is a very large campground that is packed with campers. I would recommend bringing bikes otherwise it is hard to walk from the campground to the water park. Nice pier to go crabbing from. Not alot of scheduled activities for the kids but the C.A.L.M. staff were great. Several campsites got flooded after bad rain storm. Camp store is well stocked but very pricey… buy supplies before you come. Waterpark is not huge but is fun for the kids… can get crowded when groups in buses arrive. Did not use the bus to Ocean City MD but it looked like a good option.
