They are professionals, but still they must still be nervous!

Pets are allowed! They can't go in the grandstands or the restricted areas though.
The fees vary for kids aged 6 to 11, then 12 to 15, but you just need to check the event schedule for the actual pricing. Make sure you have ID to show their birthday!
Coolers which are 14" or less can be taken anywhere on the track.
From the D.C. Metropolitan Area, take the Beltway I-95 to exit 7A (Branch Avenue). South 30 miles to the traffic light at Route 234, then left 7 miles to MIR in Budds Creek, MD. From north of Washington DC, follow I-95 south to Maryland exit 7A (Branch Avenue). South 30 miles to the traffic light at Route 234, then left 7 miles to MIR in Budds Creek, MD. From south of Richmond, VA, follow I-95 north to the Virginia exit 104 (Bowling Green). Follow 301 north into Maryland to the traffic light at Route 234, then right 7 miles to MIR in Budds Creek, MD.
