Teachers corner

DCM annually serves more than 21,000 elementary students. Through our Learning Labs and field trip programs, DCM is changing how students learn and affecting how teachers teach. With DCM-led open-ended classroom explorations, children who have not succeeded with more traditional instruction often excel in the Learning Labs, many for the first time. Over 40 school districts and private schools count on DCM to help meet Illinois Science, Technology, Engineering and Math curriculum standards. Many of these schools consider the Museum a vital part of their curriculum..

We were able to take the kids here while we were in town, and they absolutely loved it!! Such a cute play place and it's good for them to get out and play with other kids.

Both my boys 9 and 4 years old said that this museum is outstanding! Note, they are experienced "shoppers," since many times they attended Children Museum in Chicago(they like it so much too), in Toronto, in Milwaukee as well as such facility in Haifa, Israel.

Skip the local Chuckee Cheese place and go here instead. Sure you don't get any pizza but the activities and fun the kids have here is priceless. Hours of fun for a reasonable cost. Even better than pizza, bring your own lunch and eat in the dining area on the bottom floor. Perfect family time our kids love it and it's no where near as chaotic as Chuckee Cheese and it's far more educational. I especially love the bubble ring, try and create a bubble around your body, I never do get it right but it's fun to try. Totally recommend DuPage Childrens...Read More
