I'm not sure what I expected when visiting here but it certainly wasn't this. The location is certainly strange, you're driving through a neighborhood to get to it. Anyway the whole location is small and the nature they have on display is a small range of insects to stuffed animals. The highlight and best part were some of the staff had the snakes out for their daily UV intake and we got to touch them. Helped my daughter overcome some of her fear of snakes.

Discovery place is a great science museum to visit with kids. It has all of the things that are important in a good museum, including the hands-on science stations, live science shows, and we really liked the engineering area and the aquarium in the lower level. There are two theaters in the museum which provide a nice break for everyone. We loved that the science films were free in the second theater. Easy parking, no complaints, only positive things to say.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. Some of the exhibits were kind of short but, overall this is a cool place to visit.

The nature trail was also a bit lame.
