About this activity

If you LOVE stories, and getting lost in those faraway worlds filled with amazing characters, twists and turns, then ImaginOn might just be for you!

ImaginOn is a collaborative venture between a fabulous library and a very entertaining children's theatre, so you are literally surrounded by stories!

This entertaining experience brings stories to life through exhibitions, books and performances which can challenge, excite and inspire those little ones.

If you want to introduce your children to the magical world of theatre, and seeing their favorite stories come to life right in front of their very eyes, then follow their journey LIVE!

They can spend time with Clifford the big red dog, or sing along with musicians that tell stories through song. If they get inspired by what the see, the children's theatre offer classes for all ages. It's fun being creative!

If you have teens in the family, they will love The Loft - which is just for them! For those kids between 12 and 18, The Loft (which is FREE!) has the best new teen fiction, as well as graphic novels, magazines and comics.

They also have interactive teen activities such as the Scavenger Hunt, Pop Culture discussions, giant scrabble to play, and even meet authors who can tell them all about their process!

For those younger kids the Spangler Library has great books for kids up to 5th grade, and even a baby and toddler area!

Love movies and music? ImaginOn also has Studio I,where families can bring stories to life through music and movies! How amazing!

Lots of family fun at this North Carolina center for imagination and creativity!
