Nature is a wonderful thing, and Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve is filled with all sorts of nature just for YOU!

Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve is 737 acres of forested habitat that lies within Reedy Creek Park. The preserve itself is great for those active families, with over 10 miles of hiking trails! (Better get a good pair of shoes!)

There are a variety of terrains to explore, not only giving kids a place to run around, get active and enjoy that fresh air, but also a place to learn! Wildlife, nature, biology, ecology, geography...it's all there for the taking!

Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve is filled with places to play and explore! There are streams, forests, lakes, and fields...and of course that Nature Center itself where kids can really get up close with some great information and fun exhibits!

The center features native animals, as well as an exhibit hall and of course a gift shop! The whole family can observe nature in action in the Backyard Habitat Garden, with a butterfly garden, a feeding station, and a composting area which is great to experience all about recycling and the environment.

Take your time and enjoy the self-interpretive trail guides too.

Then, just across the way is the Reedy Creek Park where you can get all your recreational activities in! There are athletic fields, playgrounds and picnic shelters, as well as bike paths.

So much nature you might have to visit again to take it all in!
