Where are we going today?

Museums can be pretty exciting to visit, especially when you think of all the fun, new things you can learn. But what about a museum that is designed JUST for kids! That's exactly what the Children's Hands-On Museum of Tuscaloosa was designed for....families just like yours!

It's a museum where kids can really get hands-on, and learn through experimenting, touching, feeling, and playing. In fact - it's encouraged!

The Children's Hands-On Museum has three whole floors of fun where the whole family can have a great time. Perfect for kids up to 13 years, there are 24 exhibits waiting to be enjoyed!

Are you excited to hear all about how you can spend your day? Let's begin shall we!?

Kids can feel the spray from the river on their face as they learn all about river transportation whilst at the wheelhouse of a towboat, or learn about the fascinating culture of a Choctaw Village during the 1700s. Did you know that in fact the city of Tuscaloosa was actually named after a Choctaw Chief Tuskaloosa? See - you're learning already!

The Farmers Market is waiting for those who love to learn where food comes from, and they can pick up some items in their basket, or they can admit themselves to hospital and learn all about the body and why it's important to stay healthy!

For those little ones, soft play is waiting at Once Upon A Farm, with soft play development for newborns to aged 3, and kids can get creative in the Arts Studio, and explore the world of visual art!

An amazing day out for the whole family, where the most important thing is that the kids use their imagination! What will they become today?
