I went there for my graduation last year and it was so fun!! Even though the prices are expensive, this place is awesome and I want to go back next summer.

I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner and his excitement has changed the outlook and the perception of many people in a positive way. We are so excited that this family has come to Alabama to not only create a family park that we can be proud of but give us a safe environment where we can go and have fun!! Welcome to Alabama Koch family!

We have been season pass holders for the last 8 years, through many ownership and park changes, but this year as been the worst – bad enough that we will not go at all next year, much less purchase passes. The staff has been beyond rude this entire season, I have had 100% bad interactions all summer long. I don’t ask for much, but when I am purchasing a $7 funnel cake, or a $10 refill cup (because they no longer refill previous years cups as they have forever), all that I ask is that you not be downright mean and act as though we are inconveniencing you by buying food. My 15 month old must eat gluten-casein free, and while I don’t attempt to get food into the park for her, I have been harassed multiple times for trying to bring in a sippy cup of almond milk. In previous years, baby food/bottles were fine, but this year it has been a fight every single time to get one sippy cup in for her. We are going today for one last time before summer ends, and I dread it. Next year we will find a more family friend place that will at least take our $$ without making us feel unwelcome.

I would avoid this park like the plague. I bought season tickets and didn’t realize it had changed dramatically. I went yesterday and the water looked and smelled very dirty in the lazy river. then we went to the wave pool and got in with my family and all we could smell is a very strong bleach smell? The employees are very rude of course they are all 15 and 16 year olds, and do not care and roll there eyes about anything you ask them. The paint is peeling of everywhere on the buildings and inside some of the buildings (isn’t this a health hazard). The areas are very dirty it doesn’t look like anyone sweeps up anything during the day. The lines are extremely long to get food and even on saturdays they have one line open so to get a drink takes about 30-40 minutes! WOW. Oh by the way if you want a tube to go oround the lazy river on you have to pay $10 bucks to rent one! Also if you take your souvenir cup you bought last year you cannot get refills for 99 cents as they promise in all the advertising. BTW you can’t carry any food in we were stopped at the gate and sent back to our cars and could’nt bring in a few granola bars.wow so you must buy there $5 hamburgers. i could go on and on this place is nasty. please don’t waste your family outing on this got to water park in Blount county or Huntsville!
