Loved learning more about this company! We watched a 10 min video and saw the processing plant but I wish it were more hands on or interactive. They could also update some technology and the video. But overall great experience.

The Tabasco Tour with a small lobby, a 10 minute video in the theatre, and windows into the working shop floor, followed by a small display of gadgets, and history is a wonderful portal into the making, history and production of Tabasco. The guide only comes every so often, so check the board and be patient. The tour guide we had, charlie, was very informative, humorous and quick. This is a fun stop and give great insight into Tabasco.

We were in the area and not sure what to do, a friend suggested this tour. At first I thought... boring. But I was wrong. The staff was friendly and the video was informative. We sadly missed seeing the plant work as they close up at 4 and when we went through the plant was dark and everyone had left. Still enjoyed! Then we went to the store where we sampled Tabasco Ice Cream... (yikes) and Tabasco soda (double yikes!).... Each of us liked it and it was actually kind of fun! Its a dollar to get on Avery Island and well worth it!

If tobasco makes it, they have it, very nice staff, edible products I didn't even know existed! Next time I'll take the tour.

Unfortunately they do not run production lines on the weekend so you can not see actual bottle filling, but the video and country store were great. They gave samples of mini bottles and had samples to taste in store.
