What if we told you that if you keep reading, you can learn ALL about the second largest zoo in Wisconsin? Excited? Great, because we're about to tell you all about Wildwood Wildlife Park and Nature Center!

Wildwood Wildlife Park is home to hundreds of adorable animals, including endangered and threatened species. From the smallest of insects, to the largest of mammals, this fun Wisconsin wildlife park is proud to care for all these amazing creatures that YOU can meet!

You can see the tallest of giraffes, or the graceful deer. Kids can come face to face with those grand mountain lions, or you can see how slow a tortoise might really go!

There are cheeky bobcats, cute marmosets, playful gibbons, and even laughing hyenas. You can enjoy up close and personal experiences as they play!

Don't miss the super fun Safari Tram Ride experience either. Nestled in the lush woods of Minocqua, this safari is home to a host of amazing animals that YOU can encounter during this experience. It's also a brilliant time for kids to learn all about the conservation efforts for these threatened and endangered species.

On this ride you'll see Big Horn Sheep, Oryx, Emu, Kudu, Dali Sheep and more! The journey is narrated as you wind your way through sprawling woods, passing zebra grazing in the field, or Eland studding across an open field.

With fun events across the year, such as the spook tastic Boo at the Zoo, Wildwood Wildlife Park is your ticket to a WILD family day out!

Quarters for Conservation is an exciting program at Wildwood Wildlife Park that raises money to support conservation projects all around the world, including rhino conservation and cheetah conservation!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Wildwood Wildlife Park and Nature Center?

Enjoy your lunch with the giraffes! Grab a snack or a meal, whatever your appetite craves we have something to hit the spot. Offering pizza, hot dogs, brats, chicken nuggets, corn dogs, deep-fried cheese curds & much more
delicious delights. They also serve hand-dipped ice cream cones

Any top tips when visiting?

The tram rides open at 10am daily, and are $8 per ride for those over 2 years!

Does Wildwood Wildlife Park and Nature Center have a gift shop?

There is a gift shop available where you can pick up some great gifts, merchandise, souvenirs, mugs, cuddly animal plush, clothing, animal books, puzzles, logo T-shirts, caps, animal figurines, toys and games.

Teachers corner

They have great educational programs, a living history school house with artifacts with interpretive information from the 19th century, and other great opportunities for students!
