About this activity

Have you ever been somewhere and seen some pretty impressive sculptures - that were made entirely from ICE? They are pretty impressive, and you may have been wondering how they were made.

Well, if you head to Sculpted Ice Works Factory Tour - you can find that out!

The factory tour at Sculpted Ice Works is an unusual but fascinating day out for the family. You can learn something new, see people who are expert at their craft working their magic, and hear the roar of loud chainsaws! Vroom Vroom!

Sculpted Ice Works Factory Tour takes you around the manufacturing facility, where you can see the creation of these artistic masterpieces, being sculpted with chainsaws.

Don't miss the chance to spend some time in the Natural Ice Harvest Museum too while you're there. Did you know that natural lake ice was once a booming industry in the Poconos? You can re-live history and step back in time in the museum, and see how ice was "made" in the mountains long ago.

No kids, they didn't just have ice trays and a fridge freezer - it was more complicated than that!

Spend the day as a family learning something new, and enjoy a fun day out at the Sculpted Ice Works Factory Tour.

Have an ICE day!
