Pocono Whitewater offers mild to wild rafting and kayaking trips, as well as family trips, trail biking, and hiking excursions to suit everyone’s needs. They even have paintball. Yep!

Each trip option offers something unique, so make sure you check them all out to ensure you get the right one for you.
You might choose the Dam Release Whitewater where you'll be surrounded by state park protected mountains whilst enjoying 12 miles of Class II and III rafting! Even kids as young as 8 can enjoy it!
If you want something slightly more family friendly, the Family Style Whitewater is for you. This allows you to enjoy 3 or 4 hours of family rafting adventures, on Class I and II whitewater. Beginners are welcome, as are kids as young as 4!
You're never too young to take on the Lehigh River!
For something SUPER fun, check out the Pocono Pirate Rafting, where the might river is being invaded by their very own crew of Pocono Pirates! Arrrr me harties! An extra bit of swashbuckling family fun for all!
Other tours include Moonlight Rafting, a BIG day out with breakfast, biking and hiking, combo adventures and even private trips.
Don't forget about that paintball!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Pocono Whitewater Adventures?
The Broken Paddle Bar & Grill is a full service kitchen that has everything you need for a great day outdoors. Join them for breakfast, or they can pack your lunch to take on the river too! A great spot for a post-dinner meal also
Any top tips when visiting?
When you book our family style rafting Memorial Day through Labor Day or weekends in May and September, you get a free riverside BBQ lunch. It includes hot dogs, macaroni salad, chips, fresh fruit, water and lemonade. Peanut butter & jelly is also available as a substitute for hot dogs!
Is Pocono Whitewater Adventures fully accessible?
Lehigh River is a free flowing wild river with changing water and weather conditions. You should be healthy and capable of getting back in the raft should you fall out. If you have excessive weight for your height or have a disability which would hinder or prevent you from getting back into the raft, we do not recommend this trip for you
Any additonal information?
Riverwear in the spring & fall should include wool socks, wool/fleece hat, wool/fleece/pile sweater, windbreaker, and windpants. For summertime family rafting fun bring your bathing suit, shorts, rivershoes or old sneakers. Always remember to dress for the weather. Bring eyeglass straps if you wear glasses. In the great tanning months of June thru September, remember to bring your sunscreen. Never forget a towel and change of dry clothes, but don’t bring them with you on the raft. Otherwise you’ll have a wet towel and no dry clothes at the end of the day. Leave them in your car and get them after the trip. NO FLIP FLOPS & NO BARE FEET!
