We LOVE educational days out that are also fun, and even better if they involve animals too. Welcome to Space Farms Zoo & Museum!

Your New Jersey family day out can come alive with nature and history at this popular museum. 

Here, kids can explore their wild side as they step back in time and head for the wilderness all in one day. The zoo is home to more than 100 beautiful acres of peaceful countryside that offer plenty of room to picnic and play. These 100 acres are also home to over 500 wild animals too!

Kids can come face to face with beautiful creatures from all across the globe, including the exotic jaguars, leopards, tigers and lions. There are those we know closer to home including bears and bison, and of course those adorable domestic animals we know and love, such as sheep, goats and pigs.

Don't miss out on those cheeky primates either!

Once you have enjoyed your animal adventure, head to the Space Farms Museum, with 9 large museum buildings. It's here you can explore over 50 antique cars, as well as motorcycles, old horse drawn carriages and sleighs, and one of the largest private antique firearms collections too!

It's a great way to explore American history, where the stories unfold right in front of your very eyes! 

As families roam the zoo and browse through the museums, an atmosphere of fun and adventure creates a memorable experience for everyone. Make sure you spend some time in the playground too, it's a fun stop for kids in between all that learning fun!
