From June 2016, the Zoo stopped selling single-use plastic water bottles, instead swapping them for a sustainable alternative, CanOWater!

They also are supporters of conversation, both in education and practice!

You can find baby food at the Cafe on the Lake and they can help in warming both milk and food (please ask at the counter).

Micro Trikes are available to hire for toddlers for just £10 (£15 refundable deposit applies)

You can feed those rumbling tummies at a number of places! The Base Camp Restaurant is great for meals such as burgers and fries. The Viewpoint Kitchen and Deli offers a great view overlooking the incredible white rhinos, serving a combination of Al forno pasta dishes and freshly made pizzas!

There are also eating opportunities at the visitor center, Station Store picnic shop and more!

Don't forget to dress for the weather (wellies are always handy!), and keep an eye on the events they host across the year so you don't miss out!

There is of course a gift shop where you can pick up some great souvenirs and gifts to take home!

With outdoor education workshops, field trips, virtual lessons and plenty of learn about, the zoo is a great destination for kids to enjoy a field trip!

The animal houses close 15 minutes before the Zoo closes.
