Wendover Woods is located in the surroundings of the Chilterns and there's picturesque views, adventures and much more to fill your day. There's lots to do for all ages, whether you're looking for an adventure or just a quiet moment to relax.

At the woods, there is Go Ape Tree Top Adventure, Gruffalo orienteering, assault courses and play trails. There's plenty of walks to go on too and visitor facilities, play areas, cafe and more for a great day out. 

Try the fun, navigational challenge using a simple map to find twelve of the Gruffalo markers hidden in the woods. Race against the clock on a 1.5k course and see who can win! The map can be picked up at the informational point. Each sculpture is carved in a different position, and if you get stuck, just head to the information point for a clue. 

There's also a sensory walk of 0.6 miles and is suuitable for wheelchairs. Take in the sights, sounds and scents and get close to nature. The trail is best enjoyed in the early morning. 

Enjoy a picnic or barbeque in the woods, grab your bike or simply stroll through the woods, it's a great opportunity to get outdoors in nature.
