Caludon Castle Park is free to enter and is located just three miles from Coventry city centre. It's a small park compared to others in the area, but contains the ramains of Cauldon Castle which is a Grade 1 listed building.
The park has been awarded a Green Flag for the few years, and is nationally recognised. The park is divided into zones including sport and play to the east, and historical features to the west and north areas.
There's plenty of green space for the children to run around and lots of play facilities too. There is a children's play area that's suitable for younger children, a teen's area with youth shelter and a multi-use games area that caters for five-a-side football, basketball, netball and tennis. There's also lots of walking and jogging trails too!
At the park, only the banqueting hall wall remains from the castle, and it's surrounded on three sides by a moat.
You'll also find some outdoor gym equipment for all ages to enjoy, and open grassland for ball games and a game of frisbee!
