About this activity

Come rain or shine The Painting Pottery Cafe is the ideal place to spend quality time with friends and family. This place is truly a hidden gem, a haven for creativity and fun that is perfect for families of all ages.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure that everyone feels at home. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a first-time visitor, they'll take the time to help you select your pottery piece and guide you through the painting process.

The cafe is bright and airy, with plenty of natural light streaming in through the windows. The walls are lined with shelves of blank pottery pieces, ranging from mugs and plates to figurines and vases. There's something for everyone here, from simple designs that even young children can tackle to intricate patterns and motifs that will challenge even the most experienced painters.

The Painting Pottery Cafe is more than just a place to paint pottery, though. It's a community of like-minded individuals who love art, creativity, and spending time with family and friends. There are regular events and workshops held here, from themed painting nights to birthday parties and hen dos. And the cafe even has its own loyalty card scheme, where regular visitors can earn rewards and discounts on their future visits.

In addition to painting pottery, visitors can also try their hand at canvas painting, decopatch, and even mosaics. There's always something new and exciting to try, and the staff are always on hand to offer advice and encouragement.

For families, The Painting Pottery Cafe is an ideal day out. It's a chance to escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life and spend some quality time together, creating something beautiful and lasting. And best of all, it's affordable - with pottery pieces starting at just a few pounds, and no studio fee to pay, it's a fun and budget-friendly way to spend an afternoon.

They are a living wage employer and take the welfare of our staff very seriously.
Most of the pottery comes over from a family run business in Italy - so not too far from home.
Any scrap clay from making sessions gets recycled in a process called reclaiming clay, meaning it can be endlessly used.
