New Forest Reptile Centre

The New Forest Reptile Centre is located near Lyndhurst and they protect rare snakes and lizards and reintroduce them back into the wild. It's a great day out if you love reptiles and want to get some insider information about the incredible creatures! 

At the centre there are some special outdoor pods which provide a natural home to the lizards and snakes. The reptiles can be difficult to see in the wild as they're rare and very secretive, but nows your chance to get up close to them! Better still, the entrance is free! 

As well as the animals themselves, you'll be able to enjoy a short family friendly walk in the new forest. You'll start from the car park and follow the red marker posts along a gravelled track. It's around one mile and will be suitable for all abilities, and you can walk or cycle! 

Once you've done that, why not set up a picnic and enjoy the surroundings? It's a great way to refuel and the kids can run about too. 

They sometimes have events running at the centre, so make sure to check out the website before you visit so you know what's happening.
