About this activity
Frensham Great Pond is a Green Flag Award winning site, situated between Farnham and Hindhead! It's a popular destination where you can enjoy a dip in the hot water!
The pong is an outdoor pool and is really popular in nice weather, so if it is hot, jsut be aware it may be too crowded! You'll need to follow the safety rules and only swim inside the marked areas. The maximum depth is 1.4 metres so make sure to stay within this area.
You'll find a rangers office nearby with a snack bar, toilets and some drinking water if you need a refreshment and a rest!
The pong is monitored by the Environment Agency during the bathing season and water is regularly monitored. If high levels of algae are founding during the season, the pond may be closed, so just check before you visit.
Small infltatables are welcome too!
Bring the whole family down and enjoy a dip within the great pond!
