Foundry Climbing

About this activity

Foundry Climbing is an indoor climbing centre, filled with all sorts of climbing obstacles! From autobelays, to toprope climbing and lead climbing, they welcome all abilities and ages that want to learn or perfect a new skills. 

There are seven autobelays throughout the centre on both overhanging and vertical wall and 22 toprope lines on slabs and vertical walls and a staggering 24 lead lines! There are five circuits to challenge all abilities and climbers with around 110 challenges of all abilities. There's all a training area with a splatter board, fingerboards, bar, weights and much more. 

There's also a number of classes for anyone that wants to learn to climb. Theres a junior introduction where you'll learn how to boulder and toprope safely. And each class goes up in levels, so you'll learn lots more climbing techniques as your progress on your abilities. 

As well as classes theres special kids climbing sessions. It's fun and enagaging and you'll be taught climbing skills and safety whilst being supervised by the instructors. 

You can also learn how to climb as a family or with your friends at a time that suits you! You'll be taught how to fit a harness, tying clmbing knots, techniques and much more and all equipment will be provided for you. 

They have a cafe onsite too selling lots of hot and cold drinks which is the perfect place to wind down after your day of climbing!
