About this activity

Eastnor Pottery and The Flying Potter offers pottery experiences for all ages and abilities who want to unleash their creativity. They offer lots of courses and workshops, from clay modelling to potter's wheel courses!

The clay modelling workshop is for kids and grow-ups too! The projects will change every three months and provides a creative and educational activity to make you own creations! You'll get tuition, materials and firing included and is open for workshops during the school holidays.

You'll wach a demonstration from the assigned potter before getting stuck in. You'll have a lump of clay to make your sculpture but there will be some staff to help you if you get stuck. You'll also get the opportunity to paint your masterpiece, and then it will be fired and glazed and it'll be ready for collection within a month!

If your child is aged 14 and over, then why not go on a potters wheel introduction course! You'll have two goes on the wheel and the experts will tell you all about the five steps to make a pot. Select your favourite pot to take away and you can paint them at home or they can glaze them for you.

They also offer school group visits too for all ages and abilities where you'll explore creativity through clay. Just get in touch with them to make your booking!
