The Equestrian Centre at Holme Lacy

BHS approved The Equestrian Centre at Holme Lacy is a riding school that offers excellent riding facilities and education! So whether you're a beginner or a more experienced rider, the centre is a great learning environment to improve your confidence and develop some new skills for all ages. 

Hacking is set within the college's 600 acre estate. You'll head through woodlands, open field, grass paths with some optonal jumps on the way! There's also a cross-country course and an outdoor arena. Even if it raining, the arena has an all weather surface so you ride rain or shine throughout the year! There's also an indoor school too, that has a viewing gallery so spectators can come and watch. 

The centre has lots of different horses with different personalities too. Everything from quiet horses to competition horses, they'll be able to match the perfect horse to your age and ability too. 

All of the instructors are qualified to a minimum of BHSPI standard and are on hand to help you build your confidence into a great horse rirder! 

They welcome anyone over ten years old and offer private, smi-private and group lessons too, with exam training onsite as well! Remember to wear long trousers, boots and bring your approved riding hat too to get started.
