About this activity
We offer a variety of traditional craft workshops at Art Masterclass, a boutique art studio in Sydney. The first Turkish mosaic lamp workshop in Australia teaches the ancient art of making the lamps.
During this 2.5 hour class, you will learn the techniques of this ancient craft that dates back 500 years. In addition to teaching and practicing geometric patterning, you will also learn and practice laying tiles (tesserae). We will guide you through the process of creating your own Turkish mosaic lamp by using the geometric template you selected.
We offer sumptuous Turkish tea service, delicious treats & homemade Turkish shortbread cookies at all of our workshops & events.
The company offers customized workshops, which are perfect for private functions, special welfare events, and corporate functions. Gift vouchers are also available and is the perfect gift solution for family and friends. Classes are held everyday of the week, every week!

Our beautiful, and spacious studio is located in Darlinghurst, within a 5-minute walking distance to King Cross Station, and all the wonderful things that Sydney has to offer. After you have completed your mosaic lamp, reward yourself and catch a ferry across the sparkling Harbour to Manly or Watson’s Bay.
