Follow the Yellowstone Trail Arrow Signs off Park Street via 5th or B streets to the museum. Free parking.

Where are we going today?

Yellowstone Gateway Museum of Park County is home to an extensive collection of artifacts and exhibits featuring Park County, Yellowstone Park, Railroad, Pioneer, and Old West History.

Also on display are many items of Park County's natural history, prehistory and geology. See the tools of Park County's trades, everything from Coal to Gold Mining, Agriculture, Firemen, Peace Officers, Railroading, and more.

Open 7 days a week 10am to 5pm summer, but in winter Thursday through Saturday only.

    Great place to visit. The museum is much larger than the exterior looks. Many great exhibits to see and a wooden train set for kids to play with while you look around. Will visit again.
