What is there to do?

Buffalo Bill Dam is a HUGE construction feat, and you can visit and learn all about it at the Buffalo Bill Dam and Visitor Center in Cody!

See the dam up close as you walk all the way along the top of the dam. If you're facing east, you will be looking down 325 feet into the Shoshone River below! Facing west, and you get to see the Buffalo Bill Reservoir - bring your camera, there are some amazing views!

When you see the dam, you might just wonder how it was built, so just as well the Visitor Center is right there to tell you! Inside, you can see a host of exhibits that talk about the construction of the dam, as well as information on wildlife in the area, the geography of the region, and even history of the area with prehistoric artifacts!

Take the time to stop and check out the mini theater too, where you can see a short film on the building of Buffalo Bill's dam, and learn how important it is to the way of life in the area.
