Where are we going today?

We know how hot those Alabama summers can be, so why not spend the day cooling off in a very refreshing water park!

Water World is a family friendly outdoor water park in Dotham, that is perfect for everyone of all ages! From those parents who want to sit by a pool and relax, to those little water babies who want a little splash about!

Love a bit of thrills with your spills? Then why not plummet over the edge of a very COOL 41 foot tower, then onto a slippery slide, then you can rocket back up the other side again!

That's not all! There are THREE 400 foot long flumes which will twist and turn you down a big hill, and then you can find a fun splashpool at the end to collide with!

We said Water World had some great activities for those little water babies....and there is! They can spend the day playing on the very tame turtle slide, where they can get some mini thrills of their own. They can climb the playful belly of the elephant slide, and even splish and splash about under the rain tree!

Other features at Water World include a giant wave pool, a fun Tadpole Hole kiddie pool and a fun and exciting video games area! If you really want to spend some time at Water World, you can extend it out by enjoying a lovely picnic lunch at the shaded picnic area.

There are grills too to make your lunch even more special!

Who's ready to cool down at the very COOL Water World? We hope you are, because we certainly are!

Not family friendly!!! Don't go!!! The teenager, Savannah, attending the Tadpole Hole was repeatably rude to my 3 year old child and discouraged her from coming down the tiny toddler slide. In contrast, she was very friendly to some other children that were also hesitant to come down the slide. It seemed as if she simply didn't like my little girl. It was our first and last time there. I watched her discourage my child 3 times before I stepped in and gave her a reality check. Then I told the teen manager who was kind about the issue, but I left...Read More

I have been trading my kids and grandkids for decades. Always clean, never obnoxious, good greasy standby food, ie, burgers, dogs, chicken strips, fries, bbq, funnel cakes, gift shop with essentials like sunning products and clothing. Showers and staffing area could use an update but they're clean. Life guards are seriously on duty! They keep all the slides safe and organized with the kids. I can sit in the Sun and watch the kids at any slide and not get up except to roll over and get more Sun! We love it here.

Then I told the teen manager who was kind about the issue, but I left really unsatisfied with the whole experience and vowed to actually get online and share my opinion. The park also is incredibly small and overcrowded.
