Landmark Park is more than just a place to wander around. It is a place to participate and experience!

There is not only a host of nature to explore, but history to re-live, and lots of fun learning to be had by the whole family!

Landmark Park is 135 acres of parkland built to preserve the natural and cultural heritage of Alabama's Wireless Region.

If it's nature that you love, then you are in luck because there are woods waiting to be explored via an elevated boardwalk, as well as an interpretive center that can teach you all about the wildlife and plant life that surrounds you.

Ever think there would be a planetarium too? Yep - there is! There are also wildlife exhibits, which are great to check out before you actually head out and spot them!

Then, history is waiting to be experienced with an 1890's living history farm, complete with original buildings such as a smokehouse, an old farmhouse, syrup shed and cane mill.

Let's not forget about all of the animals too - after all, it is a LIVING history farm! From chickens, to cows, mules and goats, those animals are just waiting to make new friends.

Make sure you don't miss the Victorian gazebo, as well as the one-room schoolhouse. Kids - how much different is that school room to what you know today? Pretty different we imagine! There is also a drugstore, a country store and a turn-of-the-century church.

With fun annual events, as well as workshops, Landmark Park really does have something for everyone in the family!
