Directions

Head on down to 6954 Buck Creek Road in Marion for that adventure!

Where are we going today?

Ever wanted to camp at 1800 feet elevation? Well, you only have to travel to Pisgah National Forest to do so! Mountain Stream RV Park is right in a beautiful narrow valley with mountains on all sides. An incredible place for your family adventure!

There is a lovely creek that flows right through the valley, and along two sides of the campground.

The incredibly Blue Ridge Parkway is only about 5 miles away, so your adventure will seen to begin before you even reach the campground!

There are shady RV sites, as well as a designated pet area. (No reason why the WHOLE family can’t have fun!) Some of the RV sites are right on the creek, and most of the sites are surrounded by beautiful tall trees,, so you will have plenty of shade and privacy.

Mountain Stream RV Park is, well, in the mountains, which means there is no cell phone service. We say – good! Nothing like being in the present moment and not looking at that screen! There is, however  wifi and cable TV so you won’t be completely without.

Kids – are you ready for some really fun events! Mountain State RV Park hold events all through their season, including fun easter egg hunts in Easter, pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treating, duck races, scavenger hunts, chili cook-offs and of course, a BIG Thanksgiving Dinner!

So if you want an amazingly scenic experience in the mountains with your RV and family, check out Mountain Stream RV Park and have a great time!

I just left there from a 3 night stay. It's ok but not easy to get into for a 5'er. Not really kid friendly, internet very slow, and absolutely no phone service but by land line. The manager at first seemed nice but proved me wrong on third night.

3 campers all check in with 2 people each within 2 hours of each other. On the 3rd night the manager comes up, we're all eating at the same table, and says we need to stop by and settle up for the overflow people. What are you talking about may I ask? The new people that came in to the site. ...Read More

This is an ideal spot to camp with an RV. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful - they even have a small shop with a decent supply of food and snacks as well as RV repair equipment. It is quiet, has a picturesque stream that runs through it and is great for families and avid hikers as there are several good trails within short drives of this point. If you're planning a trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway this is a great stop.

Very beautiful & quiet campground. Nicely landscaped and very clean. My family enjoyed the 5 days we stayed here.

The new people that came in to the site. We're all in different sites we say and have have been here since Thursday. Well ok and walks away. Would be fine if you'd asked before assuming we're in violation of your rules. Don't think we'll be back.
