I just left there from a 3 night stay. It’s ok but not easy to get into for a 5’er. Not really kid friendly, internet very slow, and absolutely no phone service but by land line. The manager at first seemed nice but proved me wrong on third night. 3 campers all check in with 2 people each within 2 hours of each other. On the 3rd night the manager comes up, we’re all eating at the same table, and says we need to stop by and settle up for the overflow people. What are you talking about may I ask? The new people that came in to the site. We’re all in different sites we say and have have been here since Thursday. Well ok and walks away. Would be fine if you’d asked before assuming we’re in violation of your rules. Don’t think we’ll be back.

This is an ideal spot to camp with an RV. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful – they even have a small shop with a decent supply of food and snacks as well as RV repair equipment. It is quiet, has a picturesque stream that runs through it and is great for families and avid hikers as there are several good trails within short drives of this point. If you’re planning a trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway this is a great stop.

Very beautiful & quiet campground. Nicely landscaped and very clean. My family enjoyed the 5 days we stayed here.
