What is there to do?

Who is ready for a family day out in the gorgeous Tennessee, but with a difference? Get ready to hear all about The Wandering Llamas!

The Wandering Llamas is one of the most unusual and fun adventures you can enjoy with your whole family. Not only that, kids get to experience super fun animal encounters, as well as get out into the beautiful Tennessee countryside!

It's with The Wandering Llamas that the family can spend the day hiking with fluffy pack llamas, who are just adorable! These llamas don't spit (yay!) and are easy to lead.

The trails that you will head out on are gorgeous, with creeks, bridges and grassy fields all passing you by. Just spend a few hours hiking, or even just stay a while as you have lunch in the forest with the llamas. They can carry all your drinks and goodies, and there are even tables and chairs waiting for you out in nature if you choose that option!

All you do is just choose the trail that suits your needs and hiking abilities. The meeting points for all of the hikes are located at the actual trailheads, which are in Greeneville, TN.

If you want to extend your stay and camp overnight, there are RV sites available at Cherokee National Forest, but you must book these of your own accord ahead of time, through the National Forest Services.

The short trek lasts from 1 - 2 hours, or you can add the lunch for an extra hour. For those who want something a little more special, The Wandering Llamas also offer a wine and cheese trek - yum!

A beautiful, nature filled animal-tastic family day out in Tennessee, so grab those walking shoes and sense of adventure, and let's go!
