Our kids LOVE Tweetsie Railroad! If it were not so expensive we would go more often!! The facilities are very clean and obviously well maintained. Our favorite thing to do there is pan for gold. The kids would spend hours panning if we would let them! LOL…it really is a nice place to spend the day with family!

As someone else said, “Darling!” We loved it. The park was clean, the train actors were great, and all the employees that I talked to, were very friendly! The bathrooms were clean, as well.I had gone to Tweetsie, as a young child, so I don’t remember much. I had always wanted to go back (I’m 48 now) and I’m so glad we did! To me, the entire atmosphere there was just very welcoming and friendly. I feel the price ($39.00) is absolutely in line and within reason. The food was good. A little on the expensive side; but again, Tweetsie is seasonal and I completely understand the reason for this. I rode the Merry-go-round, went in the miscellaneous shops, and went to the pet farm. The pet farm was wonderful! I had so much fun, seeing the animals and feeding them! They are all adorable. It was a wonderful day and I’d go back again! 🙂

I was a little thrown at first by the cost of the park. However, my kids had a great time. The train ride was fun. Some of the props need to be updated, and we had to assure our 3 year old they were “pretending” cowboys and indians. They have some rides for smaller children, cars to drive around a track, carousel, ferris wheel, tilt a whirl. My children loved deer park and feeding the animals. They also enjoyed the smaller mouse train ride. There were several items that had additional charges including “state fair” types of games, face painting, gem mining, an arcade. We didn’t get to see the saloon show and can can dancing because our little ones were worn out. This park did have the nicest workers of any park I’ve ever been to.

This is the most darling theme park on the planet. As long as you’re not there during the Thomas the Train week you don’t have to worry about long lines. It’s a tremendous value, a fraction of Disney and so much better because it’s not crowded and expensive. The only thing I would say Tweetsie could improve upon is their food. It’s okay, not great. Not bad, just alright. All in all, we LOVE Tweetsie.
