Unbelievably rude staff. I went to rent boots and they gave me boots that were wet form the inside, so i went and asked the lady politely if i can get different ones and she rudely responded: “you should go rent ones form somewhere else then.” Then she gave me another pair that were even worst and one of the soles was half way out. when i told her about the soles she made me take them out and said “their you go.” Besides form that the lift operators were screaming at people all day long. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered anywhere.

Very bad mountain as far as ownership. I feel like the owner Ryan just had the mountain handed to him by daddy and doesn’t know how to run a business. I has a season pass here for 2 years but switched to sugar for the bad customer service on the higher up parties. Maybe Ryan (the owner) will learn and they can improve on things they need to such as customer service and caring about the customer. Mountain is decent but sugar has a great staff and mountain so Beech has an L in my book

Watch out! there is a woman and an older man from ski patrol who needs to learn proper etiquette phone conversation. Rude and disrespectful. Anyone would say. Who are you? We only lift people who are injured!! This place is called a resort and people who goes there wants to have a great time but if you deal with such kind of unprofessional treatment you want to say this is the last time to be on this place. It’s bad and negative as well.

Was not disappointed. My family and I decided to take a day trip on a Saturday. We had just visited Snowshoe a couple of weekends prior and wanted to save a little money by not getting a room. Arrived at Beech immediately after they opened and when I handed the lady my bank card to purchase the lift tickets, she recognized the bank on it and asked if I was military. I’m a veteran and have been to places that don’t offer discounts for non-active military. I advised her that I was a veteran and no longer active to which she stated that it wasn’t a problem and gave me the military discount. Big thanks to her.Since this was our first time at Beech we asked a couple of the employees about the different slopes. Most were young adults who were not rude by any means, but just had attitudes you would expect from normal teenage kids. Even still they were as polite as could be in explaining. The runs are limited but there are enough intermediate and advanced runs to keep things fun for a day. This was my son’s 3rd day of boarding and after the first hour he asked to hit the blues. The greens are short and you’ll spend just as much time letting gravity escort you down the mountain as you will standing in lift lines.I joked and called Beech “rake mountain” because most of the runs end into a single slope which creates a huge hazard at the intersection. Amenities were pleasant and clean. Prices of food and drinks are reasonable. Will board this mountain again!!!

Great selection of slopes, catering mostly toward intermediate riders.Beech is probably my favorite snowboarding locale, with a ton of intermediate level slopes and a lot of variety. There are a few advanced slopes and a few beginner slopes, but there are better mountains around for new riders or those just looking to test their own skills. If you’ve been snowboarding a few times, however, and just want a good mountain to ride without wiping out a ton, Beech is the place to go.
