Where are we going today?

Don't know if you want to experience the thrills of a theme park, or the spills of a water park? Why not head to Kings Dominion where you can have both!

Kings Dominion gives you a whopping 400 acres of family entertainment and it's just waiting for you! There are thrill rides and family rides, water fun at Soak City, the very cute Planet Snoopy for those little thrill seekers, and of course all the live entertainment that you need!

Those in the family who LOVE to be brave, you will love the thrill rides at Kinds Dominion! Get ready to get wrapped in the coils of the Anaconda roller coaster, where you drop 144 feet through nearly 3,000 feet of track! (That goes up to 50 miles per hour!)

You can get behind the "wheel" on the Backlot Stunt Coaster where you can feel what it's like to be a stunt car driver, and there is a giant Viking ship just waiting to swing you into a whole new experience!

And with other thrill rides with names like the Rebel Yell, Intimidator, and Shockwave, you KNOW you are in for some thrills!

But of course, like every great theme park, there are family rides too so no matter what age (and bravery level) you can all enjoy it together! You can fly like an eagle, climb to the top of the eiffel tower, and immerse yourselves in those classic rides that represent Americana, you won't be short of things to entertain you!

We haven't even begun to scratch the surface of the water park and live entertainment yet! (Did we mention the dinosaurs?)

Get ready for so much fun it might overwhelm you!

I just rapped up the 2014 season. My family and I made about 6 trips to the park, and while we got our money's worth with our season passes, the overall quality of the park has gone down. The park staff have poor customer service skills and don't go out their way to address customer concerns or questions. They have a "I could care less attitude" toward the people who make their jobs possible. I frequently observed visitors smoking in unauthorized areas of the park, and no security was available to enforce the rules. I also observed visitors walking...Read More

Having been to numerous amusement parks as well as quite a few other Cedar Fair parks this is by far the friendliest. The employees here seem to go out of their way a lot more in order to make sure everyone has a great experience. The park is laid out very well and has some incredible rides, most notably Volcano and Intimidator 305. I would recommend this park over Six Flags and Busch Gardens any day.

We chose this campground for its convenience to Kings Dominion. The price was very affordable. The campground is well tended and has trash cans readily available around the park...what a great way to keep the grounds clean! The bathrooms were immaculate: A/C; super clean; smell nice; well lit; conveniently placed; good shower pressure. We had bees nested under our concrete pad. We notified the desk and the Manager came out immediately to inspect. He sent for the appropriate staff, and an Asst. Manager and a woman from the Facilities dept came right...Read More

Ever since Cedar Pointe bought out this place it has gotten worse and worse. I think it is pathetic that I paid the money to enjoy the Halloween Haunt and they push everyone through. It should actually be a Fire Hazard as many people as they stuff in the haunted attractions... instead of doing groups of 10 they literally hold the door open and everyone crams in they don't close it or break anyone up. This used to be my favorite thing to do for Halloween now it's a waste of time.

I frequently observed visitors smoking in unauthorized areas of the park, and no security was available to enforce the rules. I also observed visitors walking around the park with open beer cans in the presence of minors. Some of these individuals were staggering and appeared to be intoxicated in the Planet Snoopy area of the park. Visitors frequently broke lines while others were waiting to ride and nothing was done about the matter. The food prices are way too high and not very healthy. I think a decrease in season park sales and general attendance will send a serious message to the park management. I won't be back next year!!

They got rid of the bees and the Manager came the next day to ensure that the bees were gone and we were satisfied. We were impressed that some staff were wearing ties. We've already recommended this campground to others and will definitely stay here again.
